Spooky Boyfriend

Submissions

In the poem "Dear Reader," James Tate writes, " I am trying to pry open your casket / with this burning snowflake." Spooky Boyfriend seeks to publish work that shakes the reader out of the comfortable and into the unknown. This does not necessarily mean "dark," it only means that the poems should be uncommon knowledge.

Submit up to five poems in an attached .doc file to spookyboyfriend@gmail.com. Simultaneous submissions are fine, just let us know if your work is accepted elsewhere. Previously published work will not be considered.

In your submission, include a brief bio, as well as something spooky.

Submissions are read from January through February and August through September.

All rights revert to the authors upon publication in Spooky Boyfriend. We ask that Spooky Boyfriend get recognition as the place of initial publication if your work is published elsewhere.
